The quieter summer months are ideal for carrying out compliance tasks, refurbishment work and checking your building safety measures are in order.

It is important to manage your regular health and safety compliance regimes even when your premises are closed for the summer. The quieter months of July and August are the perfect time to carry out refurbishment work and to check your building safety measures are in order.

Asbestos

If you are planning refurbishment wok throughout the summer, ensure you have your survey in place so you can plan ahead of this work.

As part of your asbestos management programme, periodic re-inspections are recommended to assess the condition of asbestos containing materials.

We provide UKAS accredited asbestos re-inspections and all of our site staff follow stringent covid-19 guidance whilst on site and are DBS checked.

Legionella

To support your water hygiene compliance, our water hygiene team can carry out:

  • Legionella risk assessments and reviews
  • Ongoing water maintenance e.g., outlet flushing, temperature policy monitoring, shower cleaning, TMV servicing
  • Tank cleaning and disinfection
  • Procedures and risk assessment guidance
  • Full range of training courses – virtually or classroom-based.
