As we all know, the speed of the outbreak and changes to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is impacting businesses and communities all over the UK and we are all having to adapt and comply with the interchangeable government requirements and guidance.
Based on the latest tiering review on the 4 January 2021, AEC will be continuing as normal and we are fully committed to support you with your compliance programmes and training. We remain open and here to support you.
Entering commercial properties
Please rest assured that any AEC member of staff attending your site during the current COVID-19 emergency will follow government guidelines and are fully trained, equipped, follow social distancing and are aware of their responsibility to minimise risk to themselves and others whilst getting the necessary job done
Entering residential properties
The government did not make any announcement to stop work within a home by a tradesperson and therefore we continue to work with our residential clients to carry out planned works as normal. We will also work closely with residents to communicate government guidance and our surveyors continue to adhere to our strict Covid procedures and policies whilst on site.
Training courses
Training courses continue to run at our Manchester and Essex premises. All of our facilities follow the necessary COVID-19 procedural guidance and our teaching spaces have been redesigned and laid out to facilitate social distancing. Laboratories
Both Essex and Manchester laboratories remain open and offer a Covid secure drop off. Customers can still drop samples during off office hours 8am-5pm or use our 24hr drop boxes at each office. We are of course monitoring the government guidance closely and will react to any change required.
