Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd (AEC) has opened its doors to a new South East office in Mountnessing, Essex.
On the 10th September, The Mayor of Brentwood, Cllr Keith Parker officially unveiled the new facilities at a grand-opening ceremony in Brentwood. The event was attended by AEC staff, customers and guest speaker Dawn Wood who is a police Marine officer and the second fastest woman to row solo across the Atlantic. The event will mark the 10th birthday in business in the South of England.
Guests took an interactive tour around the building and explored more about AEC’s services through practical zones, games and activities demonstrating asbestos, Legionella, laboratory tours and occupational hygiene compliance areas.
The new office is set to accelerate the continuing success of AEC’s Southern team and the significantly larger facilities will ensure that the business can accommodate the growing demand of customers. The new building offers the business a potential four-fold growth capacity over the next five years which will support the company’s South East expansion plan.
AEC’s business in the South East of the UK has grown through the development of strong client relationships and an excellent reputation in the marketplace. The addition of new NHS and rail contracts to the business over the past 6 months, further strengthens our southern order book, reputation and demonstrates AEC’s ability to support fast moving and responsive projects.
Mandy Reid, AEC’s Director, said: "It’s an exciting time for AEC and we are delighted that Cllr Keith Parker could join us on this special occasion to open our new building for our growing workforce.
The new facilities enable AEC to strengthen service capabilities for our customers, and meet the growing demands for asbestos, water hygiene, safety and training needs in the south.”
